The Falconer's Knot

Hi there! Having never posted to the book blog before, here goes... The Falconer's Knot by Mary Hoffman looked pretty promising for a book chosen right off the shelf. And after all, Mary Hoffman wrote the highly popular Stravaganza series, so how could I miss? This book is a mystery set in 14th century Italy during medievel times. It follows the lives of several characters, mostly a young nobleman accused of murder named Silvano and a young woman named Chiara. There is mystery, romance, and even art. I enjoyed the book and it was an easy read- maybe too easy and a bit silly. I had to finish it though- and find out whodunit! I hope you give it a try and let me know what you think. I will be posting more Mary Hoffman info later in the week, so stay tuned!
